Earlier this week, the council's Lib Dem cabinet proposed to axe two new proposed council officer positions and divert those funds to keep Catmose Sports Centre running. However, this recommendation was voted down by the full council this evening, with a final vote of 6 for, 16 against, and 3 abstentions.
