Christmas Lights, Christmas Tree, Oakham Town Council, Value Tree Photographed by Professional Photographer
The Clerk of Oakham Town Council was pleased to report
the towns Christmas lights were now mostly installed and the
office has received favourable comments from a number of
members of the public.
The issue of the Christmas tree lights
is ongoing the installers have still not received the correct
light which I have been told should be festive multi coloured.
Today a professional photographer came to town and photographed
the councils new Christmas tree which is tremendous value priced
at £550 + vat

well that is what the daft council would like me to say.
At the moment the Christmas tree is half illuminated blue, because the contractor has been supplied with the wrong lights. Before putting the rest of the lights on he is waiting to hear from the council. Are they happy with blue lights or do they want white?
Gaol Street

High Street
these have been added to a few lamp posts this year
Mill Street
Melton Road used to be decorated all the way, just as last year it
is treated to one string of lights.

Oakham Town Council, Christmas Lights, Credit Note
Oakham Town Council, Christmas Lights, Credit Note
Oakham Town Council seem pleased to receive a £500 credit note for the poor service received
from the company that was paid £16,000 for last years Christmas Lights.
I think a full refund would have been in order.
The UK's Best Christmas Lights, 2012, Oakham Town Council, £16,000 of Value
