Rutland County Council Voted to Scrap and merge Horn Parish Council and merge it
with Exton.
Rutland County Council hope the change will be rushed through before the Election.
It would appear Rutland County Council and Exton Parish Council had forgotten
about the Parish of Horn. The parish council thought it had been dealt with years
ago?
Tory Leader Roger Begy said there was no objections to the merger and gave the
impression the change was rather insignificant,
Records show:
Horn is a civil parish in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England. In 2001 it had a population of 9. The parish is part of the Exton Hall estate of the Earls of Gainsborough.
