Eight Leicestershire Police officers accused of sending offensive messages about gay and disabled people


This does not surprise me, the messages are said to all been shared using social media from
2013 on.

2013 is an interesting year for me because Leicestershire Police built a disgraceful against against me
supporting homophobic Town Councillors past and present.

I am told an anti corruption investigation conducted by Leicestershire Police is now complete.

Some one at Leicestershire Police is delaying the release of the investigation findings.
The investigation started in 2013.



The officers are accused of sharing the content on the messaging service WhatsApp.

All eight officers are constables who remain on duty.

Leicestershire Police referred the matter to the Independent Police Complaints Commission after they became aware of the messages last year.

Both agreed the officers had a case to answer for gross misconduct.

The hearing began on Monday, and could last up to five days. Here is what happened on day one.

If found guilty of gross misconduct, the officers could be dismissed on the spot.
