Ex Oakham Mayor one of the Biggest Reason for the instability of Oakham Town Council Calls for Stability

Don't you think a period of stability would be welcome at Oakham Town Council instead of this continual attacking of individuals until somebody gets their own way because they can't stand certain personalities. Yet another vote of no confidence request from Cllr Brookes. When will it stop? Or will it only stop when the lunatics take over the asylum. That was a metaphor by the way before somebody takes it out of context.
So how about the stability thing, don't you think that that is what Oakham really needs?
My response:
Martin Brookes Paul Beech When the Town Council sorts out the mess created by Alf Dewis and co there will be stability. My report gives very good reasons for my vote of no confidence in the deputy Mayor. I am fed up hearing that Alf only made a minor mistake, he made a number of "minor minor" mistakes attempted to blame Jayne Woodcock for some and I made a promise to her she would not be blamed for conduct. If people read the brief auditors report they would see how he and the Clerk attempted to brush away my concerns with the auditor, even you came to a meeting and stated my concerns about the accounts were malicious. Well there were not, unlawful is just that. I only raised a few issues because of the cost to the taxpayers to prove I was correct has cost £2600 This year I am objecting to much larger sums of unlawful payments some also the responsibility of the ex Mayor the largest almost £17,000 the Clerk is responsible for. The Council unlawfully kicked me out of the meeting when I tried to raise my concerns. Helen Briggs wrote to me yesterday and informs me that I am to receive an apology for the way the monitoring did not handle my complaint about that exclusion, I strongly object to you using the term lunatic when referring to the Council. I can assure you many things are being done correctly it is a slow process. As you know the Streets report said accounts software should be purchased and this has taken nearly a year to do that, I am no lunatic and neither are any members of Oakham Town Council all the new members are dedicated to moving forward in the correct direction. There are a few who are set in their ways, Cllr Lowe is one of them by asking us to support him for the sake of continuity, surely know one wants more of the same. OTC will receive qualified accounts again for this year its a disgrace. Kate Waterton I am fully aware I am not perfect who is but I attempt to carry out my role as a Councillor in a way residents expect and that involves asking questions which the old guard can't or won't accept OTC is not a club.

Martin Brookes Mr Paul Beech using and abusing public deputation's to support Disgraced Cllr Dewis, interestingly he uses 'minor account mistakes and discrepancies ' to describe unlawful activity, For a long time Mr Beech and co have acted in a way towards me which has been appalling and I have stood up to these bullies and have persisted to prove Oakham Town Council acts unlawfully and he and the old guard have done everything they can to prevent this, The corruption of local police and County Council the most serious, The Leicestershire Police Anti Corruption Report soon to be published will highlight this. This years audit report confirms what I have been saying for a long time is true and the next report for 2015 -2016 will do the same. It must be very upsetting for Mr Beech and co, I will not be bullied into ignoring concerns regarding unlawful use of Oakham Tax Payers money
