Oakham Town Council, Finance Committee Meeting, Friday 2nd December 2022 at 6.00 p.m Agenda The first time residents can speak to Councillors about the budget

Although all committee meetings of the town council are open to the public, I think this is the first time a finance committee has been fully open to the public with the ability for residents to speak to members about the budget. Perhaps this is due to the town council once again receiving a dreadful audit report, reminding them of a issue of many years. The council just makes up figures and spends the precept received in any way it wants, often ignoring the fictitious budgets set.
