It’s time to paint the towns blue and green! To celebrate five years of being your voice on the airwaves, Rutland and Stamford Sound is inviting local businesses to join the festivities with our Birthday Shop Window Dressing Competition.
Since Rutland and Stamford Sound first hit the air, they’ve made it their mission to champion the incredible people, organisations, and businesses that make our area so special. Now, they want to see that community spirit reflected in your shop fronts!
They are looking for the most creative, eye-catching displays in Stamford, Oakham, and Uppingham. Whether you go for a sleek "Radio" vibe or a classic "Birthday Party" bash, here are the ground rules. Use Stamford and Rutland Sound signature colors Blues and Greens. Feel free to incorporate radio elements (think vintage mics or headphones) or go all-out on the birthday celebrations. Displays should be ready for the week beginning March 2nd, which is when their judges will be out on the streets.
Besides the glory of having the best-dressed window in town, one winner from each of the three locations will receive a fantastic prize: A one-year membership to our brand-new Business Club.
