Lyddington Village Fete, to be opened by Rutland's MP, Alan Duncan, The Old White Hart pub, Gretton Silver Band

Lyddington Village Fete

The annual Lyddington Village Fete will take place on Saturday 18th May 2013 at 1.30pm.

This is a traditional village affair with the whole village packed full of activities for all the family,
and will be opened by Rutland's MP, Alan Duncan.

Stalls will include plants, jams, cakes, bric-a-brac, nearly new, tombola and books as well as the well loved dog obedience demonstration, with plenty of games for children and adults.

Gretton Silver Band will keep everyone entertained whilst enjoying tea and cake
(and waffles, ice creams and a Bar-B-Q) on the village green and looking at the vintage cars and bikes.

Corby Town Football Club will be providing sports activity challenges and showing fitness exercises.

Subject to the weather, there will be a Lancaster bomber fly past over the village.

The Old White Hart pub will host the dog obedience demonstration and various games in their back field.

English Heritage’s historic Bede House in the village will be open free of charge.
