If Rutland's Earthquakes were much stronger, would Rutland County Council Cope? Possibly not

If Rutland's Earthquakes were much stronger, would Rutland County Council Cope? Possibly not

At last night's Audit and risk committee Cllr Edward Baines Conservative questioned
Debbie Mogg about a exercise that was carried out but not reported back to the committee.

Debbie Mogg explained the exercise was a desk bound exercise she believed it had a theme
of flooding.

The end result was the council found the parts did not fit, the council has learnt and
she hoped the council will hold a similar exercise in the near future and hoped
it would be a success.

A bit worrying if your council can't even hold a successful flood management exercise.

I think Rutland County Council has just been lucky they have so far not had to
deal with any type of serious emergency here in Rutland.
