Katie Marshall – Soprano
14 year old classical soprano Katie Marshall has been learning her craft since she was 6. Since then, she’s performed at the O2, duetted with actor Julian Ovenden on the Downton Abbey CD, and has now released her own EP, mastered at the iconic Abbey Road studios.
Katie has also been recognised as one of the country’s most promising young vocalists, winning four rounds of the closely-fought Rotary competition regionally and performing in the national final, and becoming the overall winner of Great Bowden Recital Trust X factor near Market Harborough. She’s also a Princes Trust ambassador, and has sung at many charity events, from Anna’s Hope to the Children’s Air Ambulance. Katie attends Catmose College in Oakham.
Her programme features a mixture of classical music and musical theatre. She will be accompanied by Fraser Graham on piano.
