LAYERS OF SKIN

2 OCT 2012
STUDIO PERFORMANCE

A multi-layered performance with bold choreography by Belgian/English choreographerFilip Van Huffel and his inspirationally fearless Retina dancers.
The work starts from the idea of hiding; our three layers of skin hide bones, organs and muscles and also who we are and what we think and desire, in thei full-bodied, fast-paced and stimulating production six performers will metaphorically shed their layers as they execute the quirky intricacies of Van Huffel's vigorous choreography with raw vitality.
Accompanied by music from Belgian chamber rock ensemble Aranis.
Retina Dance Company presents a fun and challenging open workshop, open to professional dancers, dance teachers and students and dance enthusiasts. Thu 27 Sept
