Leicestershire Police Rutland County Museum  Special Constabulary Recruiting Seminar

If you would like to join as a Special Constable or would like to find out more information on the recruiting process, attend the next recruiting information seminar.
The HR Service Centre and Special Constables will be there to give first hand information about being a Special.
They will talk about the role of the special constable, the training involved and their duties and responsibilities.
The next Specials recruitment seminar is
Date: Monday 31st March 2014
Time: 6.30pm
Venue: Rutland County Museum
Catmose Street
Oakham
Rutland

Special Officers come from all walks of life and volunteer to undertake policing duties alongside Regular Officers.
Our Mayor used to be one until he started playing silly games.
They develop skills that are transferable and are highly valued by employers.
They are asked to volunteer a minimum of four hours a week or 16 hours per month.
Although unpaid, we will cover some expenses; offer extensive training, a Leicestershire Police uniform and the opportunity to gain a wide variety of skills that are transferable to existing or future employers.
Free parking anywhere throughout Leicestershire and Rutland whilst on duty essential whilst popping out of the station to fetch a bite to eat from Tesco.
We would also recommend that you check if you meet all of the eligibility criteria for Special Constables before you attend.
Leicestershire Police is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all sections of the community to better reflect the diverse community we serve.
A bit of joke: Leicestershire Police are currently looking to recruit a equality officer.
