Lest We Forget - A Remembrance Concert
Saturday, November 7th
The ever popular Rutland Concert Band will be repeating their ‘Lest we Forget’ Remembrance Concert on Saturday November 7th in All Saints Church Oakham.
After their previous concert last year it is hoped this will be an annual fixture in Rutland’s musical calendar.
There will be new items with Bring Him Home from Les Miserables played as a concert piece.
The guest performance by the Rutland Choral Society will include the haunting Adiemus from Songs of Sanctuary by Karl Jenkins and a melodious version of Auld Lang Syne.
Ladies from the Royal British Legion Oakham Branch will be serving tea and coffee during the interval.
Admission is free and a retiring collection will be in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The concert begins at 7.30.pm and parking is free after 6.pm
