The German Shepherd is the first of three working dogs to
be commissioned by Melton Borough Council
The Complete Three will include:
A German Shepherd on guard,
a Labrador detecting and a Springer Spaniel leaping.
Using three dog breeds predominantly used in the military.
The dogs are on duty and in action, to recognise the
dedication and training of the working dogs.
The sculptures are a celebration of military dogs
rather than a memorial to them.
