Georgie Beadman, 21, from Ratts Lane, Braunston, is taking on the run in aid of children’s charity Barnardo’s. She is looking to raise £2,000 for the cause.
Roly Easson, his son Ben, and friend Gary Spencer, aka ‘The Greetham Runners’, are raising funds for Leukaemia Care. Gary, 44, suffered from the disease as a child.
Viv Middlebrook, 50, who lives in Foundry Road, Ryhall, is tackling the run in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The charity proved to be a vital service when Viv’s friend Barry Daff was involved in a bad car crash in Tolethorpe Road. She is hoping to raise £4,000 for the service.
Clare Spencer, 31, from Whissendine, is determined to finish her second London Marathon in aid of LAM Action, a charity that supports women with lymphangioleiomyomatosis.
She has supported the charity ever since her mum Gill was diagnosed with the condition.
