The village of Market Overton is holding its annual Feast Weekend, promising a packed schedule of events for all ages. Running through Sunday, June 29th, 2025, the village will come alive with a vibrant mix of tradition, entertainment, and community spirit.

The festivities kick off on Friday evening at with a bang at the Black Bull, where live rock and electric blues band Zarakan taking to the stage, setting the tone for a weekend of lively entertainment.

Throughout the entire weekend, visitors can enjoy a variety of ongoing attractions. The popular Scarecrows 'Cool Calm & Collected' will be gracing the village, offering a whimsical trail to follow. Children (and the young at heart!) can embark on a village treasure hunt, while history enthusiasts can delve into the past with the village history trail. And, of course, the highly anticipated grand draw with fabulous prizes offers the chance to win big.

Saturday, June 28th, is particularly jam-packed with activities. Start your day right with Brunch at the Black Bull from 9:30 am. At 11 am, the air will be filled with the joyful sound of bells ringing out from the Church, followed by Teas and Prosecco at the village hall for a delightful mid-morning treat. The Village Green will be a hub of activity from 11 am to 4 pm, featuring games and a display of classic cars. For those keen to learn more about Market Overton's rich heritage, history walks and talks will be held at 11 am and 2 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. As evening approaches, head to the Cricket Club from 7 pm to 11 pm for a fantastic evening of BBQ, bar, and music (following the cricket match).

Sunday, June 29th, offers a more relaxed pace with equally engaging events. The day begins with a morning service at the village hall at 10:30 am. A delightful picnic lunch will be held at The Finches at 12:30 pm, offering a chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. From 2 pm to 5 pm, several residents will open their gardens for public enjoyment at the Open Gardens event at 59 Thistleton Road.
