Tottenham Metropolitan Police Station
Mark Duggan, a 29-year-old Tottenham resident, was lawfully shot and killed by the Metropolitan Police in Tottenham, North London, England, on 4 August 2011. Officers were attempting to arrest Duggan, who had been carrying a handgun, on suspicion of planning an attack: he died from a gunshot wound to the chest. The circumstances of Duggan's killing resulted in public protests in Tottenham and other UK cities
Today outside the police station, Mark Duggan's aunt, Carole Duggan asked for a minute's silence for everyone who had "died at the hands of the police"
About 200 people have gathered outside Tottenham Police Station to take part in a vigil for Mark Duggan.
On Wednesday, a jury concluded the 29-year-old was lawfully killed when he was shot dead by police in August 2011

Fortunately the vigil passed peacefully.
