Kendrew Barracks, Gravity and Levity, Mobilisation, "Dubious" says Cllr Alf Dewis

Kendrew Barracks, Gravity and Levity, Mobilisation, "Dubious" says Cllr Alf Dewis he also said it is dissapointing that nearly all the budget is being spent on this event. The show will be performed
twice and there is seating for 800 people, The Army is expecting 10,000+ visitors.
Cllr Joyce Lucas pointed out a huge number of the sear had been reservered for sponsors. (Bitter no reserved seat for her)

Cllr Dewis was also unhappy that the MOD is closing the event at 6pm
He said if they had gone on to a later time there could have been fireworks.

Cllr Locket said they probally needed everyone to leave, as the army were probably holding a party of
of their own in the mess tent.

The event is still being organised, so not all the details have yet been revealled. Cllr Lowe said some
may or may not happen.

The day is meant to commerate the first world war. Cllr Lowe said some people have said we should
not remember. I have only heard people saying we should not have a celebrations especially Cllr Lucas's
Party in the park and the  PM's plans.

Cll Lowe has done a lot of good work to ensure Oakham Town Council has a good presence at
the barracks.

He has created some very interesting history boards.

Which include the minutes of Oakham Town Council from the time of the war.

Cap badges of all the regiments of the fallen in the area.

Medals

Also brass name plates listing the fallen.
