New Lucky Hoof at The Angler Oakham Mill Street Oakham Rutland.
I was invited with my friend Pippy Woodley, to sample the menu at the recently opened Oakham Angler Pub in Mill Street Oakham Rutland. It was certainly an enjoyable evening, I sampled the Vegan Burger on offer and found it tasted great. Pippy had a chicken dish and enjoyed getting sticky fingers. The Belgium fries were plentiful, one bowl per family is a suggestion unless you have a large appetite.
The pub has a fabulous games room.
I stuck to a soft drink and found a root beer that actually tasted like root beer.
This is not a fast food restaurant, meals are prepared from scratch using fresh local produce. So why not pop along to Mill Street and enjoy a leisurely evening this 4pm this evenings first night.
