what the outcomes were of her Preparation of Electoral Roll with
Photographs Programme; and how the project was implemented in
Bangladesh.

The outcome of this project was the preparation by the Bangladesh Election Commission
of a credible voter list, with photographs, for use in the
parliamentary elections in 2008. The list included more than 81 million
voters, and increased public and political parties' confidence in the
parliamentary elections in 2008, which had a voter turnout of 86%.
This project was funded by the Government of Bangladesh and a consortium of donors. UK Aid provided approximately 22% of the total finance, which was channelled through the United Nations Development Programme.
