Oakham Town Council decided to close off Oakham Banstand, the closure has not lasted long.
The Town Council put up orange plastic fencing in an attempt to stop young people meeting up.
The young people who have ignored social distancing rules since the start of the pandemic have
ignored the closure and ripped down the fencing and continue to meet and despite police taking cannabis from some last week, some continue to smoke it on the bandstand.
I am not sure why Oakham Town Council has decided to put up this horrible looking fence at so late in the day?
