Oakham Cemetery Inexcusable Neglect By Rutland County Council
Over the Christmas and New Year period more families visit Oakham
Cemetery than any other time of the year.
Apart from the tatty orange netting which has be in place for over a year
now. Visitors now have to see the poor maintenance and overflowing bins.
These photographs were taken just before Christmas and remained over
flowing for days.
There is no excuse for this neglect. Rutland County Council is paying
a contractor and has a very comprehensive contract in place. For sum
reason Rutland County Council does not seem to have the ability to
enforce the contract.
