Councillor Lowe did not get the full support of all Councillors, he only received
support from 11 members. The majority number abstained with a few who voted against him.
His recommendation only just made it to full council because of the
casting vote of the chairman of the conduct committee was used he seemed
to be quite friendly towards Mr Lowe before the meeting started.
Attending the meeting, I learnt Mr Lowe will have no vote on the
standards committee. Being on a committee at Rutland County Council will, I am sure also
boost Mr Lowe's ego and maybe he will now control himself at meetings and
not assault me anymore?
