Oakham Neighbourhood Plan Cllr Michael Hailey's Plan

Oakham Neighbourhood Plan Cllr Michael Hailey's Plan

Since the beginning of this year Cllr Hsley has printed of a full report for each meeting for all members wasting a lot of paper, I would describe it as more like a diary and I can not see why this need to be reprinted each meeting why can't he publish it on the NP website it has unlimited data
upload.

What does concern me is how he appears to have taken the lead in what is meant to be a community led plan.

Looking at the diary up to March 2016 a lot of names of people doing things has shrunk and Michael's name is predominant and more recently his fond fellow Cllr Jasmine Hopkins.

Michael has done his best to exclude me from being involved which is a big mistake when
the plan is reviewed if we ever get on it will be considered by an independent person and aspect of
residents involvement will be looked at.

Since Melton Mowbray's plan was rejected for lack of community involvement Cllr Haley and his small group have attempted to engage the community in a small way. A very poor leaflet drop
to all home last month.

The group also seem to enjoy spending the councils money,  £384 + VAT for banners no date included in his report.

The biggest joke is now after so many months of achieving little they have developed a training
programme.

By six months most other groups would have produced something for the independent person
to review.

After I attended a information session led by a person who knew what they were talking about
I learnt that NP groups should be made up of people from the community residents or business
that can bring the required skills to the plan. So why is this small group developing training and what is it going to cost the council?
