OAKHAM TOWN COUNCIL, WEDNESDAY 9TH OCTOBER 2019 AT 6.30 PM, AT THE OFFICES OFTHE TOWN COUNCIL, VICTORIA HALL, 39 HIGH STREET, OAKHAM, RUTLAND LE15 6AH.

 2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Members are asked to declare, if required:
(i) Any Disclosable Pecuniary Interest they may have in respect to items on the agenda
(ii) Any other interest they may have in respect to items on the agenda
(Members are also reminded to inform the Clerk of any changes in their Register of Members’ Interests)

Members of the Public are invited to address the meeting in accordance with procedures laid down in

7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
 To consider the following applications received to date and to make recommendations comments and
observations thereon to Rutland County Council

(i) 2019/0424/FUL Mr & Mrs Munton
Construction of an annex and erection of a fence on top of a retaining wall.
151 Cold Overton Road

(ii) 2019/1003/CAT Mr Ashton
Reduce spread of next door 2 wild plum trees (T1 &2) back to boundary or near to it.
53 Stamford Road

(iii) 2019/1025/CAT Richard Dexter
TO25, TO26 & TO27 – yew trees – various works to include crown lifting, cut back branches to
give clearance of 1-1.5m.
TO22 – Hornbeam tree – Cut back of branches to give clearance of 1-1.5m & remove dead
wood.

 8. NOTICE OF INTENTION – LORD NELSON (Appendix B)
 Do Council have any objections to the following application, to place tables/chairs on the Market Place?

 9. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS (Appendix C)
To decide whether to approve the Statement of Accounts to 30th September 2019

 Council to decide how many they think would be necessary and in what locations

 13. PAYPHONE KIOSK REMOVAL – COLD OVERTON ROAD/SNOWDON AVE (Appendix F)
 To consider correspondence from Rutland County Council and to decide whether of not:
(i) Council agree or object to its removal
(ii) Or if they wish to adopt the kiosk

 14. 75TH VE CHURCH SERVICE (Appendix G)
To consider a report and make any decisions as appropriate

 15. ENHANCEMENTS TO THE OTC WEBSITE (Appendix H)
To consider a report and make any decisions as appropriate

 16. RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL – CONDUCT COMMITTEE
To appoint one member as representation to serve on Rutland County Councils Conduct Committee.
 Members to note: There will be a formal face to face interview for all shortlisted applicants before the final representatives are selected and recommended to council for co-option

17. CUTTS CLOSE LETTING (Appendix I)
To consider a report and make any decisions as appropriate

19. UNITED CHARITIES
To appoint member/s to be a trustee of Oakham United Charites
(1 meeting per year, which takes place in December, for 1 hour)

20. SNOW WARDEN SCHEME (Appendix K)
(i) To agree in principle if Council would be interested in getting involved in the snow warden
scheme
(ii) To appoint one member as representation to attend a training meeting on 15th October 2019

21. EXEMPT ITEM
To decide whether to exclude the Press and Public under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions
to Meetings) Act 1960, as amended, during consideration of Item 22 on the Agenda as it concerns
confidential and contractual matters
