Oakham Town Council Clerk Allison Greaves failed to post a legal notice on time so it appears
she decided to falsify the publication date of the legal notice.
On Wednesday 19th June she post the noticed but dated the 1st June 2019.
I contacted the council for an explanation, this promoted the removal of the notice from the
council notice board and the councils website.
I then received the following email response. It appears that the date has now been moved .

Thank you for your email.
The date of announcement is 27th June 19. Therefore, with the appropriate 30 working days, the period for set for the exercise of public rights will commence on Friday 28th June and end on Friday 9th August 2019.
All matters relating to the councils end of year accounting must be completed by 21st July 2019.
So once again the council is set to receive a poor audit report from the external auditor.
The council never bothers about or even correctly deals with these reports, something finally
picked up this year by the internal auditor.
I wonder if the external auditor will use the words significant failure of governance, words used a previous report and ignored by the council.
