Chris Vine, author of the “Peter’s Railway” series of books will present a talk with pictures, questions, prizes (books of course!) and an enactment of “The Picnic” with a model railway, food, drink and children. What could possibly go wrong??!!….Age range 3 to 90+ For the Picnic Event, Chris will read the story “Peter’s Railway – “The Picnic”” and the children will then re-enact the story with a model railway which they can put together themselves.

Food and drink will then be dispatched up the line to be eaten at the other end… We will have a model railway layout, supported by the Market Deepings Model Railway Club and The Little Layout Company Deeping St James.

When: 9am – 5pm. The talk will run from 10am – 12pm. The Picnic Train will run from 2pm – 4pm.
