Sports Event for Children, Rainbows Hospice, Whissendine Sports Club Melton Road Whissendine LE15 7EU
Sports Event for Children
Saturday September 7th,
Sports event for children aged 6-16
Come try Patang, archery, cricket, football, netball and tennis.
We hope to have a bouncy castle for the under 6s
Also attending is Army, Police and Fire Brigade
There will be hot spicy food, drink at the club bar and stalls selling local
products and tombola which is to raise money for Rainbow.
If anyone wants to set up a stall the cost will be £20 but it will go towards
Rainbow hospice
Reason for event
Firstly for children to try an activity for free and really have a good time
2nd - raise money for sports hall to ensure facilities are improved
3rd - Raise money for Rainbow Hospice - my chosen charity
Need people to come along and support and make it a success

Rainbows Hospice, Susan Taylor, Barwell, Leicestershire, English Channel charity swim
Rainbows Hospice, Susan Taylor, Barwell, Leicestershire, English Channel charity swim.
Susan sadly died while trying to swim across the English Channel for charity.
Susan Taylor, 34, from Barwell, Leicestershire, died in Boulogne on Sunday after she "suddenly collapsed" on the final part of the challenge.
She was doing the 21-mile (33.8km) endurance test to raise money for
