Residents are being asked for their views on polling facilities in Rutland to ensure the venues are still suitable for voters.

Have Your Say on County's Polling Stations

Residents are being asked for their views on polling facilities in Rutland to ensure the venues are still suitable for voters.
Rutland County Council is inviting people to have their say as part of a review of the venues, with public responses needed by Friday 12 December.
The aim of the process is to make sure the facilities are in the most appropriate locations and have access for disabled people ahead of the next elections on 7 May 2015.
Helen Briggs, Chief Executive and Returning Officer at Rutland County Council, urged as many people as possible to have their say.
She said: “The council has a duty to review the polling districts and places in Rutland by 31 January 2015 and this provides a great chance for us to ensure that everyone has good access to facilities, they are in appropriate condition and they are in the right places.
“We invite all interested parties to submit their views, in particular bodies or individuals with an understanding of issues surrounding disabled access.”
Maps of current polling districts and details of polling places may be inspected at the council offices Catmose, Oakham, LE15 6HP or by clicking here.
Anyone wishing to submit their views should email elections@rutland.gov.uk
Alternatively, people can send responses by post to Polling Places Review, Electoral Services, Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HP.

The consultation closes on 12 December 2014.
