Last night Rutland County Council held its AGM there was no oppertunity for public
deputations or question.
Only very recently Oakham Town Council permitted its chairman the discretion
to extend very limited time given for public deputations. Cllrs don't want to engage
with the public before or after meetings so when are the public meant to speak
to those who claim to represent them?
The Rutland & Melton MP has not held a surgery for years, he has a good team
who answer letters, but that is not enough.
