RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR OAKHAM SOUTH EAST WARD NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a vacancy exists in the Office of Councillor for the Oakham South East of the Rutland County Council District Council arising from the resignation of Mr Tony Mathias. After the required notice requesting an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP by TWO local government electors for the area of Rutland an election will be held to fill the vacancy within thirty five days computed in accordance with Section 243 of the Act.
