Today the notice of election has been posted:





RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF ELECTION
ELECTION OF DISTRICT COUNCILLORS

For the Electoral Areas listed below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

1. Elections are to be held of DISTRICT COUNCILLORS for the under mentioned
Electoral Areas.

2. The number of DISTRICT COUNCILLORS to be elected for each Electoral Area
is shown next to ward name

3. Forms of nomination paper are available from the RETURNING OFFICER,
RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL, CATMOSE, OAKHAM, LE15 6HP who will at
the request of any elector for the said electoral area, prepare for signature a
nomination paper.

4. Nomination papers must be delivered to RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL,
CATMOSE, OAKHAM, between the hours of 10am and 4pm, on any day after
the date of this notice but not later than 4pm on 9 April 2015.

5. If an election is contested the poll will take place on the THURSDAY 7 MAY
2015.

6. New applications to vote by post and requests to cancel or change an existing
postal or proxy vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at RUTLAND
COUNTY COUNCIL CATMOSE OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 21 April 2015, if they
are to be effective for this election.

7. New applications to vote by proxy except on the grounds of a medical
emergency must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at RUTLAND
COUNTY COUNCIL CATMOSE OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 28 April 2015, if they
are to be effective for this election.

8. Applications to vote by proxy on the grounds of an emergency must reach the
Electoral Registration Officer at RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL CATMOSE
OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 7 May 2015 if they are to be effective for this election.
