Ms Emma Rose, University of Northampton Business School, Helen Briggs, Rutland County Council Possible Suicide

Emma Rose

Last year I was contact by Ms Emma Rose by email, in that email she suggested there
had been another suicide at Rutland County Council.

After I blogged the post below, I received another message from her she was not
happy with me for blogging her message, even though in the original post
I had redacted her name from the email address. I wonder why you would send
a blogger information if you don't wan't them to do anything with it. Looking at
Ms Rose's Linkedin I can see a past Rutland connection, could that mean her
message was malicious? (Wing Grange at Langley House Trust)

Today I have been given a recording from a member of the public who I believe
had also communicated with Ms Rose. The recording includes a voice mail
from a local business man who says, there was a second death a Rutland County Council
and it was suicide.

After I received Ms Rose correspondence I asked Rutland County Council to
confirm or deny the allegation. They responded that none of their staff had
died.

That probably was the correct answer to my question, At the time I should have
asked if any Welland Partnership staff had died.

Welland Partnership was formed in February 2000 and comprises the five local authorities from four counties, of varying size and political control, but all with a rural agenda. The five local authorities are:

East Northamptonshire District Council
Melton Borough Council
South Kesteven District Council
Harborough District Council
Rutland County Council

The partnership is run like a business and as far as I can see, their staff are employed by the
partnership and not the councils.

I have uploaded the recording to a secure site in case it comes in handy at a later date.

The local business man says an employee of Rutland County
Council says all staff have been told not to talk about the incident. All very odd!

Another Suicide at Rutland County Council? Possibly an Auditor, Information from University of Northampton Business School

An Associate Lecturer – University of Northampton Business School

emma.rose@northampton.ac.uk

has contacted me regarding the possibility of another suicide of
an employee connected to Rutland County County Council.

Information is a little vague but it is pointing to a person who was
an auditor for the authority.
