Rutland County Council to Pay £150,000 towards the demolition of Oakham Swimming Pool
The swimming pool was closed due to Rutland County Council not being able to afford repairs.
The pool is leased from Catmose College and Rutland County Council has paid Stevenage Leisure during the closure, due to contractual obligations and daftly renewing that contract.
Rutland County Council previously spent around £150,000 to carry out a temporary repair.
I am not sure Catmose College feel it is fine for the residents of Rutland to pay upto £150,000 for the demolition of their property.
