Rutland Court Cases Mainly Drink Driving

Loughborough Magistrates Court, January 7

Stewart Ginns, 35, of Ranksborough Hall Park, Langham, admitted drink driving in Chapel Street, Melton Mowbray, on December 13, 2014. He gave a reading of 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for 22 months, fined £250, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £25.


Loughborough Magistrates Court, January 14

Matthew Robinson, 27, of Mill Grove, Whissendine, admitted drink driving in Westgate, Oakham, on December 21, 2014. He gave a reading of 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also admitted resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was disqualified from driving for 40 months, fined £250, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.


Loughborough Magistrates Court, January 28

James Stocks, 44, of Glaston Road, Uppingham, admitted drink driving in Uppingham on January 6. He gave a reading of 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.He was disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £110, ordered to pay costs of £20 and a victim surcharge of £20.


Loughborough Magistrates Court, February 4

Kian Goodson-Jones, 19, of Tyne Road, Oakham, admitted drink driving in Main Street, Barleythorpe, on October 30, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £110, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.


Loughborough Magistrates Court, February 11

Kevin Henderson, 51, of The Sidings, Oakham, admitted possession of cannabis with intent to supply between July 2 and September 24, 2014. He was given a three-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay £85 costs and victim surcharge of £80.

Ivan Finney, 42, of Nene Crescent, Oakham, admitted assaulting a man and a police officer on January 24 in Oakham. He was fined £400, ordered to pay compensation of £100, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
