Joyce always moans that I don't take nice photographs of her, well
it's no surprise when she poses like this.

Armed Forces Week, Flag Raising, Oakham, Rutland, Photographs
This morning Rutland County Council raised the Armed Forces Day
flag outside Rutland County Library here in Oakham.
The event is political, also an opportunity for a few to thank current
serving forces.
This year saw a better turn out, numbers boosted by the attendance
of pupils from Catmose College
Oakham Town Councillor Joyce Lucas BEM
Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland's Cadet
Kendrew Barracks Officer
Oakham Town Councillor Adam Lowe
Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, Doctor Laurence Howard
Right Rutland County Council Chairman Cllr Charlotte Vernon
middle Oakham Mayor Cllr Jayne Woodcock
Bloke who is paid well to take photographs for Rutland County Council
Rutland High Sheriff' Air Commodore S M D Williamson-Noble.
Behind him former Oakham Mayor Paul Beech, who despite of achieving
more charitable fundraising than Lucas only received a piece of paper
from last years High Sheriff, whilst she received the lowest available
award from the queen a BEM. Things are never fair.
