Our season finale will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jean Sibelius and we welcome back David le Page to perform the Violin Concerto. Those who heard David perform the Tchaikovsky concerto with the Sinfonia last season will know what a stunning soloist he is.
Framing the concerto will be Weber’s full bodied overture to “Der Freischutz” and the most melodic and tuneful of the symphonies by Brahms.
