The annual Village Fete, set to take place on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This year's fete, a highlight in the local calendar, promises an afternoon packed with entertainment, activities, and community spirit at the Ryhall Village Hall and Playing Fields, PE9 4HR.

The fete will be officially opened by none other than village legend, Betty Edwards, adding a touch of local history and warmth to the proceedings.

New for 2025, attendees can look forward to some exciting additions. All aboard the brand-new sit-on steam train for a delightful ride, or embark on a thrilling pirate treasure hunt that's sure to captivate younger visitors. For proud pet owners, a pet photo competition offers a chance to show off their beloved companions – please note, due to expected high temperatures, there will unfortunately be no dog show this year.

The traditional favourites will, of course, be back in full swing. Browse a wonderful array of art & craft stalls, try your luck at the bottle tombola, unearth hidden gems at the bric-a-brac, and pick up some greenery at the plant stall. Indulge your sweet tooth with delectable treats from the homemade cakes stall, and quench your thirst at the licenced bar or the diverse food court.

Entertainment will be in abundance throughout the afternoon. Be sure to catch performances by The Vintage Singers at 1:00 PM and the vibrant Rutland Morris at 2:00 PM. One Touch Football will be on hand for some sporting fun, and you can also enjoy classic vintage games, try your luck in the raffle, and relax in the charming tea room. For motoring enthusiasts, a display of stunning classic cars will be on show, and Rutland & Stamford Sound will be providing the soundtrack to the day.
