Sainsbury's confirmed today that the plan to develop the former Tresham College site will not
go ahead.

Sainsbury's say the food retail market is extremely competitive and has changed considerably since our proposals in Oakham were first submitted.

Sainsbury's will be working with Rutland County Council to seek an alternative
use for the Barleythorpe Road site.
