Melton Mowbray Christmas Tree Festival ended this week. As part of the fundraising
the Vicar was decorated as a Christmas tree and placed amongst the hundreds of
sparkling trees.

£10 workshop including tea

This workshop will explore the beauty of Gregorian Chant led by Christopher Hodgkinson from Cambridge Schola Gregoriana. All are welcome and music will be provided. Tea and sandwiches will be served after the workshop and then a short presentation will take place at 6pm for people who didn’t come to the workshop but want to listen to the enchanting music.

A concert consisting entirely of music of this popular German composer, who we have adopted as one of our own. Moira Johnston – soprano and Jeremy Jepson – counter tenor will perform arias and duets from Handel’s considerable repertoire. Accompanied by Paul Parsons on harpsichord and organ.
