This theme explores the interpretation of a sense of freedom. Each artist uses a variety of techniques and styles, so that with the additional mixture of concepts, there is much to consider and enjoy. The personal element means these pieces may strike a chord and offer interest to many.

Tues 10 - Sat 14 Sept 7.45pm

By Yasmina Reza

A minor spat in a public park. Two couples meet to sort out their sons’ playground punch-up. But diplomatic niceties soon begin to unravel. Alain’s constant distraction by work calls infuriates Annette. As the alcohol flows, Véronique and Michel come to realise their marriage is also in jeopardy. Everything’s set for an explosion.

In this excoriating dissection of modern manners, award winning writer Yasmina Reza reveals the perilously thin veneer that masks our true natures. Witty, sometimes hilarious, often almost too painful to watch, this play promises a rollercoaster ride.

An amateur performance by our resident theatre company.
Warning: Contains some strong language.
