Stamford Festival of Floats Parade, Fun Fair and Entertainment
Saturday, July 2nd
Floats arrive from midday, fun fair starts at 1pm, Floats parade from the Rec through Stamford at 2.15, then return by 3.45 when entertainment starts: JHH Dance, Welland School of Dance, Starlight and presentations in between until 5pm.
Parade route: Recreation Ground Road, North Street, Scotgate, Red Lion Street, Broad Street, Star Lane, High Street, and return via Red Lion Square and Scotgate
15 floats in total, led by Stamford Brass, then Stamford Pantomime Players, Welland School of Dancing, Chater Lodge, Jellyhead Collective/Liberation/Helen King's School of Dance, Alternatives, Peterborough Revellers, Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School, Stamford Transition Town, Stoney Ford Brew Co Ltd, One Touch Football, BCKA Kick Boxing, Tumbletots and Rutland Radio!
