Last year Residents from Ayr Close, Ermine Close, Aberdeen Close, Perth road, Lonsdale Road and
Montrose Close Stamford expressed grave concern over a number of applications which had been submitted by Jelson Ltd in respect of proposed developments on the following pieces
of land in Stamford Land at, Melrose Close, Aberdeen
Close, and Land at Ayr Close which had been included in the proposals by
Jelson as part of the initial housing development.
The residents say the green spaces were heavily used by
children and considerably enhanced the amenity value of the neighbourhood and had been
planted with shrubs and trees to sustain biodiversity.
This year residents are complaining about the condition of the open spaces now
owned by Jelson Ltd and home to rats.
