Summer Sundays: Craft in Clay at Barnsdale Gardens
Sunday 24 August, 12pm-4pm.
See local potters at work in the exhibition marquee; Katie Almond’s quirky and colourful vintage-style pieces are currently selling like hot cakes in galleries all over the UK and beyond, and Chris Hamilton’s 18th century-inspired tankards put the finishing touch to Adam Frost’s John Clare garden at Chelsea in 2013. They will be demonstrating throughout the day and you will be able to have a go yourself or buy a beautiful souvenir to take home.
All for the price of Garden admission: adult £7, concession £6, child £3, family (up to 5) £19.
