After the tragic murder of Neil Corby I reported events on this blog.
An employee from Leicestershire Constabulary warned me tensions are running high in the community
after I mentioned some of the comments I received from people, I assume these are from are the accused friends.
I decided any further updates would not include the suspects names and all my posts unlike the local press who were the first to publish the names of all involved, I waited until they had had published this information and included updates from Leicestershire Police.
I have attempted to be sensitive to both sides of this tragic case. I arranged for flowers to be delivered to the victims mother.
Information published was obtained from the police press office and Leicester Crown Court from sources openly available to all the public.
All my posts contain the comment relating to English Law, a suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. You won't see that in the papers.
I wonder if these people send the same style of messages to the papers and police?

Murder inquiry update: Police release ages of men arrested in Oakham murder inquiry
Below is the most recent example of the sort off message I have received. This one is particularly disappointing because it appears to come from the daughter of a local pub landlord, who I have supported.
With issues at the town council for some time. The Town Council who laughed and ridiculed his plans and would like to see the pub closed down. The receptionist at the Rutland Times and others told me stories which I ignored, they said I should not support the pub. Well I did and this is the thanks I get?
