A decoration probably best suited for the interior of the Queensgate Shopping Centre or on the
discount shelves at Wilko.
This reminds me of the mistake made a couple of years ago by Stamford Town Council
after a public outcry they returned to putting up a tree.
I am surprised Oakham Town Council has not considered following in the same direction.
Even if people do like the modern rather than traditional why does the council spoil the look
by surrounding the tree with cones and tape?
