Oakham Christmas Lights Stolen 10 years ago, What's happened to them this year?
If you buy the Rutland Times this Thursday and read its 10 years ago feature.
Ten years ago The Rutland Times reported the theft off some Oakham's Christmas lights.
If your visiting the town tonight you might think all the lights have been stolen this year.
The Town Councils Clerk, said the lights were due to go up over the weekend.
The company responsible for this claims to be having problems in another town.
Lets hope its not the same town down in Kent, who have Britain's worse lights so far this year.
The Clerk could not give a date the lights will go up.
I forgot to ask why the Christmas Tree is also missing? The Town Council paid the
Rotary to provide the tree.
