On 28/02/2017 at 11:41 a burglary was carried out at a dwelling in Racecourse Road, Barleythorpe. Unknown person with balaclava entered the property by smashing the rear ground floor kitchen door window. This act disturbs occupant who in turn disturbed the suspect. The suspect then made good his escape in a dark grey BMW M235I Coupe. No property was taken but suspected high value car on driveway was the target. There are currently no identifiable suspects, witnesses or CCTV and enquiries are currently ongoing.
