Browne’s Hospital in Stamford has been transformed by renowned local artist Sue Shields into a temporary event space to commemorate the outbreak of the First World War. Join us for a wide range of free events including music, drama, poetry and lectures on WW1 and the local heritage.
The event space will also feature local school children's work reflecting letters and poetry of the time, as well as responses to the mementos and treasures owned by the soldiers, displayed in a trench inspired installation.
