Terry King Conservative Deputy Leader of Rutland County Council and other hats, says something in the Rutland Times about planning and economic development.

Terry King  Conservative  Deputy Leader of Rutland County Council and other hats, says something in the Rutland Times about planning and economic development.

Today I took and walk around what remains of Oakham's industrial estate. there I found many empty units. Some now converted into storage units, Not helped by Mr Kings project out in Ashwell, the former prison site. Moving tenants from Oakham or another site in Ashwell is not economic development.

Mr King has not got a clue when it comes to the economics of the real world. His project at Ashwell
was heading for financial ruin a few months ago. Then as if by magic his Tory Cabinet approved a
substantial increase in the budget. Where did the money come from?

Whilst everything else run by the council is subject to cuts the Oakham Enterprise Park is immune to such cuts.

Has Mr King flogged of his other success a short walk up the road The Ashwell Business Park yet?
